Some people leave behind far more than memories. They leave values, loves, dreams, and a unique way of seeing the world.

Better Tomorrow was born from the belief that what they left behind can become living action: social action that expresses who the person was, the values they led by, and the good they would want to keep creating in the world.

Our Story

It all started with Yaeli

Yaeli was a girl full of light, joy and love for people. Even in the most difficult periods of her life, she chose to look ahead, with optimism, gratitude, hope and a desire to do good for herself, for others and for the world around her. Yaeli passed away at the age of ten and a half, after bravely facing four rounds of cancer over a period of four and a half years. But the way she lived, the things she said and the good she left behind continue with us.

During her illness, Yaeli wrote in her WhatsApp status:

A simple sentence from a ten-year-old girl became our compass, a way of life. Out of love for Yaeli and the desire to turn her memory into living action, Better Tomorrow was born, not only to commemorate who she was, but to carry on what she believed in. To do good. To connect people. To give hope, and to turn pain, love and memory into a force that keeps making a difference in the world. This is Yaeli's legacy. And this is only the beginning.

Our Purpose

Our purpose is to expand the memory of the person who was, and to allow their values to keep acting in the world: touching people, strengthening community and creating a better future.

We aspire to change the way Israeli society perceives commemoration, and to create a society in which bereavement, pain and loss become social entrepreneurship, a society in which memory becomes action. More initiatives, more communities, more people acting from their values.
